ICE for Android

Now a day’s most of the smart phones are locked for security reasons and no one can access it until you enter the password. Have you ever thought what in case if you had an accident and someone want to call any of your representatives to inform regarding you, if you are not in a condition to call someone for help?

There is option called ICE (In Case of Emergency) in all the phones but very few persons use it or know how to use it. Please find below procedure to save ICE contacts.

How do I add emergency contacts to my android?

Go to your "Contacts"

 

                      Click the “Groups” Tab.

                                              Select "ICE - emergency contacts"

• Use the icon to the right of "Find contacts" (with a plus sign) to add an emergency contact.
• 

Create Contact or Select an existing contact from your contact list, or enter the details of a new contact.   Once all the contacts have been added save it.

·         Now click on "Emergency call" to see the list Emergency Contacts

 How do I add emergency contacts to my IPhone ?

Open the Health App which is installed on all IOS devices

Tap on Medical ID tab located at the bottom on the Right side 

Tap on Create Medical ID

Choose to have the Medical ID shown when locked. Tapping on the switch will toggle the feature on/off on your lock screen.

Add the name and phone number number of the person you want to be contacted during emergencies by tapping on the Add Emergency Contact option.

Save the changes you made by tapping on the Done button located on the upper-right part of the screen.

With the device locked, swipe the screen to the left. Your phone will now ask for the pass code to gain access to the device.

 

Tap on the Emergency button at the lower-left part of the screen.

  

Tap on Medical ID on the lower-left part of the screen.

 

 

Medical ID will now be shown with the details that you have provided
